    NRS ™ – Near Reflective Surface


    The NRS principle takes advantage of the proximity of the support surface and the structure of the speaker to increase the performance of the subwoofer. The frequencies emitted by the subwoofer use this principle of lower distortion, since double efficiency is achieved by halving the displacement of its membrane. As a result, NRS achieves double sound pressure (3dB gain) for the same distortion.




    LFR ™ – Listening Fatigue Reduce


    The concept of listening fatigue is neglected for many reasons. Respect for the loss of sensitivity of our perceptual system that occurs in a part of the acoustic spectrum must be respected to avoid the listener running into fatigue problems while listening. Respect for this principle in our projects is considered essential by us to be consistent and interact correctly with human physiology.



    WMT ™ – Woofer Midrange Tweeter

    The WMT ™ Principle is exclusive to Chario Loudspeakers for controlling the energy radiated by at least three loudspeakers: Woofer, Midrange and Tweeter. The overlap of the three speakers does not occur in a classic way through the union of three distinct and separate bands, but to the almost complete response of the woofer and tweeter is added that of the midrange which operates in an interval of only one octave. This particular type of crossover filter allows to obtain a uniform and gradual reduction of the response of the off-axis system, thus ensuring a homogeneous distribution of energy in the room, to the benefit of the field of early reflections. Thanks to the WMT ™ configuration, it is possible to control the energy directed towards the floor and the ceiling, reducing the emission level associated with the first reflection. The psychoacoustic effect associated with this exclusive operating principle translates into the immediate enjoyment of greater transparency and greater detail of the medium frequencies, without the need to increase the level at the expense of the depth of the sound stage and timbre correctness.



    

    T38 Wave Guide ™



    The T38 Wave Guide ™ tweeter is of fundamental importance in those projects where the acoustic environment in which the speaker is positioned is not acoustically treated. Most households cannot fully comply with the acoustical indications that would be perfect for placing loudspeakers. Given that the environment itself contributes at least 75% to the overall result of reproduction, the T38 was designed and built precisely to address this problem. Thanks to the flange with a wave guide and thanks to the particular design of the crossover it is able to distribute the energy in a much more focused way towards the listening point, using the reflections that are generated in the listening room and the consequent delays so as not to suffer dramatically from the "bad condition" of the listening environment itself. Furthermore, being a very "large" tweeter, it manages to have a frequency cut with the second driver present, very low compared to a traditional tweeter and therefore the effect of "detachment from the environment" also occurs in the frequency spectrum more sensitive to this kind of problem.
